Original type locality

It would therefore appear that the holotype came from the vicinity of Lai Chau or, perhaps even more probably, from the Fan Si Pan mountain chain (c. 22*30'N 103*50'E) which was visited by Wulsin from 28 April to 2 May, and again from 29 September to 1 October 1924 (Wulsin, 1925).
