Original type locality

Kavunda (11*17'S, 24*21'E) between the Sakeji and Zambezi rivers: c. 11 km north-north-east of the source of the Zambezi River in the Ikelenge Pedicle, Mwinilunga District of north-west Zambia. This is located on the watershed of the Zambezi and Congo river systems at 1388 m elevation. This watershed is demarcated in part by the international boundary between Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo (Ansell 1978; Fig. 1).
