Distribution notes
Includes records from India previously assigned to T. teniotis. An acoustic record of T. teniotis from Nepal is also presumed to be T. insignis. There are literature records of T. teniotis from Bhutan and Myanmar. Occurrence of T. insignis is plausible in both countries but we have not found the basis for these records.
